Aquatots History
The Beginning

Fiona Munt Whittle’s enthusiasm for baby swimming started with the birth of her first child in 1985. Having been a keen swimmer herself she couldn't wait to get him started! Russell learnt to swim at just 9 months and has gone from strength to strength, even though he has special needs.
Fiona launched Aquatots in 1998 in Tewkesbury with a handful of babies but soon had to recruit and train more teachers as word quickly spread about her baby submersion swimming classes. Gloucestershire had not seen anything like it before and Fiona was in demand everywhere!
Interviewed on radio and featured in many local papers Fiona was frequently asked to speak in public about Aquatots amazing ability to teach babies to swim at such a young age.
