Managing Director and founder Fiona Munt-Whittle personally trains every teacher ensuring the highest quality of teaching continues throughout the team. Aquatots teachers must be ASA or STA level II swimming teachers and undergo over 100 hours of training to become a fully qualified Aquatots teacher.
All Aquatots teachers are also qualified life-savers holding either the NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) or the NRASTIC (National Rescue Test for Teachers). Regular life-saving top up sessions are held every 8 weeks throughout the year with a registered assessor, and the qualifications are renewed every two years. Aquatots teachers have all undergone the relevant training and hold the Safeguarding of Children certificate, they are also DBS checked.
