Fiona Munt-Whittle FIOS Principal Aquatots
Having started teaching my own children to swim via my Aquatots methods 23 years ago, I am still passionate about what I do! It is very rewarding being in a business that allows me to get to know lovely people and their babies and to give them back afterwards! With 4 children of my own, I feel that through the swimming spectrum I have experienced most of the problems that my customers will come across. My eldest has special needs and at 9 months old was the youngest of my 4 to swim. My second son went on to swim competitively for his county and is now a Lifeguard and Trainee Swimming Teacher himself.

I have worked in the Aquatots office for 3 and a half years, but decided 18 months ago to study for the ASA Swimming Qualifications and become a fully qualified teacher. Prior to this, I worked for over 10 years full time and following my maternity leave, part time in the Insurance Industry in Cheltenham. I qualified in the Summer of 2006 and started teaching ‘the Aquatots way’ in September of that year having also gained my NRASTIC national pool lifeguard qualification. I am now in my 4th term of teaching and am really enjoying it .I have 2 boys of school age who are both very confident/competent in the water and love swimming. When teaching Aquatots, it is amazing to see how much can be achieved by the babies/children in the water within a short time.

Carrie Wilmott
Carrie Wilmot, 42 years old, mother of two gorgeous boys, Jack 6 and Toby 4 who both started swimming with aquatots at about 6 months and now swim like little fishes. I've been involved in swimming since the age of 5, firstly with lifeguards and then with a competitive club and more recently as a teacher. Most rewarding thing from being an aquatots teacher is seeing the parents reactions when their babies do their first solo swim.

After 20 years plus in the catering industry I gave up full time work to start a family. Both my children ages 5 and 7 have swam the Aquatots way and are extremely confident in water. I can honestly say Aquatots was one of the most, enjoyable, fun activities I shared with both children. This inspired me to join the team in September 2007 and qualify as an ASA Level II Teacher and a NPLQ Life Guard.

I have been working in Banking for the past 20 years and from 2002 this has been on a part time basis since having my children. Swimming has been part of my life from a young age going on to compete Nationally and then qualifying as an ASA Swimming Teacher. I currently run a swimming club, having originally been a member, for 5-16 year olds on a voluntary basis and both my children attend. I learnt of Aquatots through friends experiences and joined the team in January 2008 . It is an excellent method of introducing babies/children to the water and most rewarding when you see their confidence grow.

Sharon Lamont
Leaving a career in International sales and marketing when my son James arrived to become a full time mum. I naturally wanted my babies to be water babies, as I had been. I found out about Aquatots through the NCT and James loved it, Freya followed in his slipstream and is still an Aquatot baby and loves it. I decided to train as a swimming instructor specifically to work for Aquatots because I believed in the methods and was amazed by the results. I ASA qualified in August 2008, also completing my NPLQ National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. I started training with Aquatots in April 2008 and am loving it. I love children and swimming so this is the best way to share both with as many people as possible. When not teaching I also run a toddler group and am chairperson for our local pre-school.

In 2008 Ann decided to hang up her wetsuit and join the Aquatots office staff. Ann's value experience as a teacher and with a strong financial background has been a real asset to Aquatots moving forward.
