Fiona Munt-Whittle FIOS Principal Aquatots
Having started teaching my own children to swim via my Aquatots methods 23 years ago, I am still passionate about what I do! It is very rewarding being in a business that allows me to get to know lovely people and their babies and to give them back afterwards! With 4 children of my own, I feel that through the swimming spectrum I have experienced most of the problems that my customers will come across. My eldest has special needs and at 9 months old was the youngest of my 4 to swim. My second son went on to swim competitively for his county and is now a Lifeguard and Trainee Swimming Teacher himself.

In 2008 Ann decided to hang up her wetsuit and join the Aquatots office staff. Ann's value experience as a teacher and with a strong financial background has been a real asset to Aquatots moving forward.

Nicola Brooks FIOS
After 20 years plus in the catering industry I gave up full time work to start a family. Both my children ages 5 and 7 have swam the Aquatots way and are extremely confident in water. I can honestly say Aquatots was one of the most, enjoyable, fun activities I shared with both children. This inspired me to join the team in September 2007 and qualify as an ASA Level II Teacher and a NPLQ Life Guard.

Lisa Bennett FIOS Teacher / Admin support
I have worked in the Aquatots office for 3 and a half years, but decided 18 months ago to study for the ASA Swimming Qualifications and become a fully qualified teacher. Prior to this, I worked for over 10 years full time and following my maternity leave, part time in the Insurance Industry in Cheltenham. I qualified in the Summer of 2006 and started teaching ‘the Aquatots way’ in September of that year having also gained my NRASTIC national pool lifeguard qualification. I am now in my 4th term of teaching and am really enjoying it .I have 2 boys of school age who are both very confident/competent in the water and love swimming. When teaching Aquatots, it is amazing to see how much can be achieved by the babies/children in the water within a short time.

Sharon Lamont FIOS
Leaving a career in International sales and marketing when my son James arrived to become a full time mum. I naturally wanted my babies to be water babies, as I had been. I found out about Aquatots through the NCT and James loved it, Freya followed in his slipstream and is still an Aquatot baby and loves it. I decided to train as a swimming instructor specifically to work for Aquatots because I believed in the methods and was amazed by the results. I ASA qualified in August 2008, also completing my NPLQ National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. I started training with Aquatots in April 2008 and am loving it.
I love children and swimming so this is the best way to share both with as many people as possible. When not teaching I also run a toddler group and am chairperson for our local pre-school.

I am a mum of 3 with a background in Social Work. I left work to become a full time mum when my second child was born.
I discovered aquatots when my first child was a baby and was so proud when at my daughter swam her first width without aids at the age of 3.
I enjoyed our Aquatots lessons so much that I decided to re-train as a swimming teacher in order to become an Aquatots teacher myself

Jacky Crean FIOS
Jacky left her career as a paediatric nurse to look after her 3 children. Her first was a strong swimmer from an early age and following in their sisters footsteps both Jacky’s sons became good swimmers. Being a swimmer herself Jacky chose to complete her ASA Level 1 and 2 Teaching Aquatics and National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches so she could teach at her children’s’ swimming club. All her children swim competitively.
Since being with Aquatots from the start of the year and learning their unique techniques it has reaffirmed that it is never too early to learn to swim and thereby overcoming many school age children’s fear of the water.
