The Aquatots office will provide you with a list of days and times required and a register of parents before the start of each term.

Specific Duties:
  • To collect an entrance fob from Receptionist at Front Desk.
  • To collect Parents from the lobby once they have signed in and escort them across to the Pool and back again. (via the designated route the school has advised)
  • To advise the Parents that their children need to be in pushchairs, on reins or to have hold of their children's hands at all times en route to the pool, and they must not be allowed to run off.
  • To assist the Teacher with equipment including the travel cot, both at the beginning and at the end of the session. The cot can be left in one of the disabled toilets as agreed.
  • To remind Parents on Week 1 of the Health and Safety checklist, including evacuation procedures, and where to put pushchairs and shoes. To manage the changing rooms equally, by distributing each class (where appropriate) between the 2 changing rooms.
  • To handle ‘stray fathers’ by arranging for them to have a changing mat and to place them in the disabled toilet in one of the changing rooms. To ask them to knock when they are ready to come out, so they are not stuck.
