"Rebecca was one of the first Aquatots babies in Gloucestershire and at the age of 9 years won 5 individual gold medals at the ASA Gloucester Counties Championships. In 2009 Rebecca also qualified for the South West Region British Age Group Championships and although only having turned 11 two weeks before the event competed as an 11 year and finished 6th in the 200m breast stroke (11 seconds away from a National Qualification time)."
